Webinars Introducing DDI-CDI (Cross Domain Integration) to the Global Data Community
The Data Documentation Initiative Alliance (DDI), which is a CODATA member and a partner in the preparation of the ISC CODATA Decadal Programme on Making Data Work for Cross-Domain Grand Challenges, has recently announced the public review of their new specification, DDI - Cross Domain Integration (DDI-CDI). The specification would be of interest to WDS Members and their data communities, particularly those working in areas where it is necessary to combine datasets from different sources and domains. Furthermore, one of the objectives of these introductory webinars is to identify interest for further consideration from particular research domains and use cases, whether ‘traditional’ subjects or cross-domain research areas.
Attendees are asked to register using one of the links above. The specification will be introduced, followed by a discussion period, with each webinar lasting for an hour.
