With travel increasingly difficult and uncertain due to COVID-19, the WDS Scientific Committee (WDS-SC) has taken the decision to CANCEL its first face-to-face meeting of 2020. It will instead hold several extended teleconferences to discuss the main priorities for the World Data System of the International Science Council over the next six months.

The 22nd Meeting of the WDS-SC was to be co-located in São Paulo with the Second WDS Latin America and the Caribbean Scientific Data Management Workshop, which has now been POSTPONED.
